Schwake Stone has been Chicago's leading supplier of quality stone products for over 74 years. We offer a wide-range of products including: paving stone, landscape stone, aggregates and pebbles, soil and mulch, cut stone, and landscape accessories.
Essential Functions of this role:
- Responsible for identifying and prospecting projects to use the Schwake Stone products
- Establish and expand relationships with new and existing clients
- Develop sales plan to meet and exceed sales goals
- Quote prices, credit terms and prepare sales contracts for orders obtained
- Work with operations team to understand inventory needed to drive sales
- Share knowledge and expertise to sell value added products
- Deliver exceptional customer service to internal and external clients
- This is not an office position. This position requires driving most of the day to accounts, finding new contractors, and developing new sales.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- High sense of urgency with entrepreneurial qualities
- Valid and clean driver’s license
- Knowledge of Landscape specifications and estimating
Experience/Education:
- 5+ years of experience in outside sales experience
- Experience in hardscape products and working with industry experts; to include landscape contractors, building contractors and masons
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business a plus
