Marketing Manager

James Martin Associates, Inc., an award winning Snow and Landscape Management firm serving Chicagoland’s northern suburbs for over 40 years, is looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to join our company. The position has the opportunity to work in our Vernon Hills, IL office or our Boulder, CO office, where we are the parent company of L.I.D. Landscapes.
  
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to promote our company and core values through all forms of communication.
 
  • Work with senior management to develop, implement and administer marketing programs that support the overall company’s planned objectives.
  • Act as liaison, selecting and working with external resources such as designers, copywriters, website designers/writers, photographers and printers on assigned projects.
  • Work in conjunction with the senior management to develop and implement advertising programs and marketing programs that deliver timely and effective communications to the appropriate target group.
  • Design and produce various internal and external communication pieces.
  • Assist in developing the company’s participation with key industry associations and charities.
  • Maintain and order promotional material as needed
  • Work with management in developing and properly executing budgetary expenses
  • Assist with Google Ad word campaigns and budgets
  • Coordinate and develop Social media content
  • Coordinate and implement JMA Web content updates and revisions
  • Manage and coordinate all marketing, advertising and promotional activities
  • Analysis of customer research, current market conditions and competitor information
  • Monitor, review and report on all marketing activity and results
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field
  • 5+ years marketing experience
  • Strong written, oral, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Experience with Power Point, Publisher, Photoshop, Constant Contact, Google Ad Words and other social media outlets

     
This is a flexible, full time opportunity with 30-40 hours per week, Monday - Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
